Our main focus when article marketing is to get people that have "already" expressed an interest in our product to our website.
The first idea is to be relevent. When you write about a keword or topic, make sure you content has to do with that topic.. Makes sense... For example, one of the keywords that I am going after are article marketing. So obviously the article is about article marketing. Google will reward you when your keywords and topic is in your article and will reward you for it. Staying "on topic" is important and a main concern when writing articles.
Popularity is our second key. You can create your own popularity on the internet. You become popular by having (guess what) Relevent content EVERYWHERE on the internet. Lets say you got on Google and you were looking for a tripod for your camera. You would put in "Tripod" in your google search. Millions of pages of information would come up. There would be so much you wouldn't know what to do.. Many of these sites would be based on products.. But what if there was an article or a video of someoene doing a review of some products, or "SHOWING" you some things to consider when purchasing a tripod. More likely you would clikc on one of those sites, because they are offering you what you need. You are counting on the article or the person to help you with that particluar product, and not just seeing a ton of choices. Using this idea can help you create popularity
If you show up everywhere on the internet, this can feed on itself, and make you "famous." In your same search for "tripod" lets say that you looked at a couple of different websites. Mostly product bassed websites, but you came across a few "review" sites as well. When you see the same name over and over again on these sites, that would be popularity.
That would work very well for you too..
Showing up on multiple sites when someone researches a key word, is popularityShowing up "all over" will certainly help your popularity and credibility
If you do your content marketing correctly, this will work for you as well.. It's really fun to watch as your rankings go up, and more traffic is sent to your sites
The third key is UNIQUENESS. You certainly have to be unique. This is not where you want to get lazy and copy and paste.I don't know how, but the search engines can detect if you are submitting the same article or the same content all the outlets.
