Is Xocai (MXI Corp) A Scam? – 5 Things You Need To Know Before Joining Xocai
Hey everyone, what’s good in your life today? I wanted to take a couple minutes and give an unbiased review on a relatively new company to the network marketing industry and to give the people who may be exploring this home-based business some questions to ask their sponsor which may prove helpful in deciding if it’s a good choice for you.
The company I’m reviewing today is Xocai (MXI Corp) which was founded in 2004 and markets a product line of “healthy chocolate”. Not bad, right?
After spending a little while today looking over their compensation plan and product line, I came up with 5 questions to ask your sponsor which I hope will help you satisfy the question that every new person has when considering a prospective network marketing company, “Is Xocai a scam?”.
1. “Is my personal autoship reasonable for personal consumption or do I realistically need to re-sell it to family and friends?” When you join Xocai, you need to purchase 100pv worth of the products (about $110) every 8 weeks, and that requirement goes up in amount and frequency as you advance in rank, so you’ll want to figure out what you’re supposed to do with it. Is it a reasonable amount for you to personally use every month to enjoy the health benefits, or do you have to go out and actively sell it to stop it from stacking up in your garage?
2. “What exactly do I have to do to make money?” Alright, you probably didn’t need my help with that question, but it’s my article so I’ll write whatever I want!
Ideally, the answer you’re looking for here is you need to sell/use MXI products and train others how to do the same (aka recruit other distributors).
Here’s one thing to keep in mind when going over the compensation plan with your sponsor: you shouldn’t earn a commission for sole act of recruiting people into Xocai (MXI Corp) unless there is an actual product order included according to FTC regulations. As far as I can tell Xocai is alright here, but keep that in mind as you’re talking to your sponsor.
3. “What do I have to do in order to make the income I desire?” If you’re looking at joining Xocai, I assume you’ve put some thought into what kind of money you need or want to make in order for it to be worth the effort to build a business. With that said, it’s very important to find out what exactly you need to do on a weekly basis to get to where you need to be income-wise.
This was really my only concern when I looked at the Xocai compensation plan, because with a $40 buy-in and a 100pv autoship requirement every 8 weeks (vs. monthly for most other companies) for new distributors, I’d imagine it would take A LOT of new people coming into your organization on a monthly basis in order to quickly get to an income that makes it worth your while. You don’t want to realize after the fact that you need to personally sponsor 32 people every month to make any money, make sense?
I’m not saying that’s the case with Xocai (MXI Corp), but it’s something I recommend talking about with your potential sponsor.
4. “What is the Xocai training program like?” What you’re looking for here is if you’re going to be taught to build a business that fits with your preferences and/or strengths. To illustrate what I mean with my own story, I prefer to use the internet and social media to build my business because I don’t want to chase after my best friend or my little sister and try convince them to start a home business. So if I’m taught to “make a list of my top 25 friends to show the business to”, that wouldn’t be a good fit with how I would want to build my business. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that method, it just doesn’t fit into what I want to do and my strengths.
Does that make sense?
If you carry a lot of influence over your family and friends, I know for a fact that can be a great way to build a massive business quickly. This is how my upline got his start over 14 years ago and it has lead to a comfortable six figure income for him and his family.
5. “What can you tell me about the team that I'd be joining?” This is so important but almost always overlooked by people who are looking at Xocai for the first time. It's crucial to your success that you're apart of a team with strong leadership. Even if your sponsor is new to the business themselves, it's not a big deal if you have a leadership team that is actively building a successful business since there will always be someone to take you by the hand to show you exactly what you need to do.
Thankfully, there are many great leaders in Xocai (MXI Corp) that are happy to help you along the way.
